The ONE and ONLY deodorant I kept on reaching for this past summer was my Ursa Major Hoppin’ Fresh Deodorant.
This is what they have claimed :
“Robust all-natural deodorant eliminates underarm odor while absorbing excess moisture and soothing sensitive skin.
– Eliminates odor-causing bacteria
– 24-hour protection
– Fresh, cooling aroma on application
– 100% natural & toxin-free (no aluminum)
– Non-staining formula
Aroma: A crisp and naturally cooling blend of eucalyptus, ginger, rosemary, grapefruit, chamomile and lemon.”
It exactly does what it is supposed to do. I still sweat after a heavy duty workout like P90X but that is what my under arms suppose to do — release toxins from my body. It’s a natural process and I have no issue with it. My under arms may not smell like fresh floral scents but it still does a great job in keeping bad odor at bay. Works great with my body chemistry and I couldn’t be any happier.
I have received mine from a wonderful online shop known as Petal and Post.
The second deodorant which I have loved using for a while now is the Meow Meow Tweet Baking Soda Free Deodorant in Grapefruit.
If you are sensitive to baking soda then this deodorant is a great option for you. I have used few other deodorants in the past which contained baking soda and noticed minor irritation under my arms when I applied my deodorant right after shower or shaving. So when I heard about this baking soda free deodorant I decided to give it a try and it has never failed me. This is a great product with all natural ingredients and I was addicted to it until I found Ursa Major. I like the fact that it comes in a glass jar with a non plastic lid. Super cute packaging. Definitely a winner on my favorites’ list.
Meow Meow Tweet has come up with stick deodorants so I am definitely looking forward to try those ones as well. Hey, it doesn’t hurt to try different deodorants right? 🙂
This deodorant also worked well with my body chemistry and kept bad odor away for a longer period of time.
I have received mine from The Green Jungle Beauty Shop.
The third deodorant I have loved using is the Captain Blankenship Lime & Vetiver Cream Deodorant. This also comes in a beautiful blue glass jar. It is however creamier than the Meow Meow Tweet deodorant and it does contain a bit of baking soda which surprisingly did not bother or irritate my skin one bit right after shower or shaving.
I love the scent of this deodorant and it works well in fighting bad odor as well. Its creamy consistency is very easy to apply. It does require frequent reapplication since it doesn’t seem to last as long as the Ursa Major or the Meow Meow Tweet deodorants. But it is still one of my favorite deodorants to use especially during the cold winter months when my under arms are more dry due to less perspiration.
